The pair of wrens we saw that day were like dramatis personae ……as were the gate attendants, travelers, and a cleaning crew oblivious to these who flew ……away from independence.
They flew away, but who could tell them of their error, incapable ……as we have always been of slowing down to reassess our inclinations, whether yes ……or no is what we mean?

The moving walkway bears us on to one last counter. Although gone ……already in their minds, some are determined to compete for any row or window seat ……the gate attendant finds,
while overhead is a glass dome beneath which two poor birds have come ……misguidedly to veer and arc. Or do we map a cage as well, who think we glide off-stage, ……forgetting we’re still here?
