Andrew Gross

Andrew Gross is a professor of American literature at the University of Goettingen. He is author of The Pound Reaction: Liberalism and Lyricism in Midcentury American Literature. Other publications include the co-authored Comedy, Avant-Garde, Scandal: Remembering the Holocaust after the End of History; the co-edited Pathos of Authenticity; a guest-edited issue of Amerikastudien on the literature of 9/11, a special issue of the American Studies Journal on “Cultures of US-American Conservatism,” and the co-edited collection of essays, Surveillance/Society/Culture. Gross is editor-in-chief of the New American Studies Journal, https://nasjournal.org/NASJ.
