Gregory MellenGregory Mellen is a translator and teacher and sometime writer living in Florence, Italy. His translations of twentieth-century Italian authors (Mario Luzi, Virgilio Giotti, Patrizia Cavalli) have appeared in The Journal of Italian Translation, Asymptote, The Massachusetts Review, and The Arkansas International. His poetry has appeared in Rustica. He has a Ph.D. in Classical Philology and has published articles on the Latin authors Horace and Tacitus.
