Hope CoulterHope Coulter teaches and directs the Hendrix-Murphy Foundation Programs in Literature and Language at Hendrix College. She is the author of two novels, a children’s book, and most recently the poetry collection The Wheel of Light, which came out from BrickHouse Books in 2015. Her work has appeared in such journals as The Yale Review, Southwest Review, and Flyway: Journal of Writing & Environment and has been recognized by awards including the Porter Prize for Literary Excellence and a 2022 Meringoff Writing Award for poetry. Hope is a Louisiana native who earned her bachelor’s degree at Harvard University and her MFA at Queens University of Charlotte. She lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.
