Julia Ridley Smith is the author of a memoir, The Sum of Trifles (University of Georgia Press, 2021). Her short stories and essays have appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review, Ecotone, Electric Literature, the New England Review,Southern Cultures, and The Southern Review. New stories are forthcoming in The Cincinnati Review and Copper Nickel, and her collection Sex Romp Gone Wrong will be published by Blair in 2023.
