Katy Carl is author of As Earth Without Water, a novel; Fragile Objects, a collection of short stories; and Praying the Great O Antiphons, a book of meditations. Her fiction and essays have appeared in Fare Forward, Windhover, Solum Literary Journal, Vita Poetica, Belle Ombre, Across the Margin, Exposition Review, Psaltery & Lyre, Current, Genealogies of Modernity, St. Louis magazine, Mere Orthodoxy, Evangelization & Culture, Church Life Journal, and the Mid/South Anthology, among others. A senior affiliate fellow of Penn's Program for Research on Religion and Urban Civil Society, she lives in the Houston area with her family.
