Matthew Ryan
Matthew Ryan is a PhD Candidate at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where he studies modern Irish fiction, and the history and theory of the novel. He is currently working on a dissertation which shows the importance of social and geographical space as an overlooked formal component of the Bildungsroman from 1800 to the present.
