E. Thomas Finan's most recent books are Reading Reality (University of Virginia Press, 2021) and the novel Mixtape Summer. His essays and fiction have appeared in The Atlantic, The Boston Globe, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, The Millions, and elsewhere. He teaches at Boston University and lives in Massachusetts with his family.
